UNA: Admissions Counselor

The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Admissions Counselor.  This position serves the broad purpose of counseling and recruiting prospective students. This position also guides prospective students to make the smart decision to invest in their future by enrolling in an online program at UNA. Essential duties include traveling to attend college fairs and visit schools/colleges to recruit prospective students, act as a point of contact for prospective students enrolling in an online or in-person program, spend time on the phone or virtual/video chat engaging online or in person prospective students in discussion about their future with the goal of setting enrollment plans, and perform other duties as assigned.
 
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree is preferred; recent experience in the recruitment and counseling of undergraduate students is preferred; undergraduate experience in student leadership and public speaking is preferred; a current, valid driver’s license in good standing is required; and UNA graduates are encouraged to apply!
