This position is responsible for managing the financial operations and investment activities of the UNA Foundation and its related entities, ensuring its financial health and sustainability. This role oversees all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, compliance requirements, investment monitoring, and strategic financial leadership activities. This position works closely with the Foundation Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement financial and investment strategies that support its mission and goals.
Minimum qualifications: a bachelor's degree in accounting is required; a minimum of five full-time years of work experience in accounting field is required; prior experience in non-profit accounting, supervisory experience, and higher education experience are preferred; Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge software experience is preferred; a proven track record of successful financial management, including experience developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and overseeing financial reporting and compliance is required; leadership/management skills with experience building and leading high-performing teams is preferred; and a CPA certification is preferred.
