Alabama Hearing Associates Celebrates Shoals Chamber Partnership with Ribbon Cutting

Florence, AL — Alabama Hearing Associates will celebrate a new partnership with the Shoals Chamber of Commerce with a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, January 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at its Florence location, 433 N. Pine Street.

Patients, friends, and local business leaders are invited to attend the event, which will be proudly live broadcast by Big River Broadcasting. Guests are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, connect with fellow community members, and help mark an exciting milestone for hearing healthcare in Florence and The Shoals.

“We are honored to partner with the Shoals Chamber of Commerce and to officially celebrate our place in this community,” said Dr. Jan Liles, co-owner of Alabama Hearing Associates. Dr. Susan Sheehy, co-owner, added, “Florence has a long tradition of supporting high-quality, patient-focused care, and we are excited to continue that legacy while building strong relationships with local businesses and families.”

The audiology clinic on Pine Street is led by Dr. Hollie Green, a Florence native passionate about serving her hometown. “This community helped shape who I am,” Dr. Green said. “It means so much to provide better hearing care to a place I love so deeply, and to help patients stay connected to the people and moments that matter most.”

Alabama Hearing Associates, which has two additional locations in Huntsville and Madison, expanded to Florence in the fall of 2024, when Liles and Sheehy purchased the longtime Shoals Hearing Clinic from Drs. Richard and Marilyn Gresham. The acquisition marked a full-circle moment, uniting decades of shared values and patient-first philosophy. Today, the Florence clinic continues its tradition of comprehensive hearing care while benefiting from the resources and expertise of Alabama Hearing Associates’ growing network in North Alabama.
