Alabama Hearing Associates has been a trusted provider of comprehensive hearing healthcare for 25 years. Founded by Dr. Jan Liles and Dr. Susan Sheehy, the practice is celebrating this milestone while continuing its mission of delivering patient-centered care across North Alabama.

In 2024, Alabama Hearing Associates expanded to Florence following the retirement of Dr. Richard Gresham and Dr. Marilyn Gresham, proudly continuing the legacy of Shoals Hearing Clinic, which served the Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and Muscle Shoals communities for more than 35 years. The Florence location is operated daily by Dr. Hollie Green, a Florence native passionate about bringing better hearing to the community she loves.

Alabama Hearing Associates combines advanced technology with highly trained Doctors of Audiology to deliver personalized care beyond a standard hearing test. Their team evaluates how patients hear speech in real-world environments and develops customized treatment plans that support both the ears and the brain. Because hearing loss is linked to cognitive decline, fall risk, social isolation, and more, the practice takes a comprehensive approach to evaluation and treatment.

Patients receive ongoing support through hearing aid verification using real-ear measurements, routine maintenance, and regular follow-up care.
