Alabama Small Business Development Center Partners with Shoals Chamber of Commerce
THE SHOALS, ALA. – The Alabama Small Business Development Center has partnered with the Shoals Chamber of Commerce to create a presence within the Shoals Center for Business Development. Beginning 2021, new business owners and entrepreneurs can make an appointment to visit the Center for a consultation on steps and best practices for a successful business in the state of Alabama. The Alabama SBDC Network is “guided by a vision of growing Alabama’s economy by empowering and assisting Alabama’s robust small business community.” Kyrel Buchanan, Sanoa Consulting, LLC, has been hired to fill this role and brings a plethora of knowledge, including grant writing expertise – a skill that has been widely coveted during 2020.
“As a Shoals native and small business owner, I am honored to advise and support aspiring small business owners,” said Buchanan. “This community is greatly enriched by the presence of our small businesses, and as we continue adding quality, diverse small businesses to the local business ecosystem, we are improving the area that I’m glad to call home.
“This partnership provides unprecedented access to the SBDC's wide array of business consulting services, which are available free of charge. It fits perfectly into our mission of enhancing the economic vitality of the Shoals. In this case, one small business at a time,” stated Chamber President, Caitlin Holland.
The ASBDC provides no-cost one-on-one business advising, training and technical assistance for businesses looking to start or grow within the state of Alabama. Anyone is welcome to sign up for a free consultation:
