FLORENCE, AL – Cramer Children's Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing trauma-informed services for children in Northwest Alabama who have experienced abuse or violence, is proud to announce the launch of its new Cramer's Young Advisory Circle (CYAC). The organization is seeking passionate and dedicated young professionals to serve as founding members and help shape the group.
The CYAC will serve as an auxiliary board, offering a unique opportunity for individuals between the ages of 21-40 to make a difference in their community, and more specifically, in the lives of children. This initiative goes beyond a typical resume builder, providing a direct way to advocate for local children on their healing journey. The Young Advisory Circle will be a vital part of Cramer’s mission, helping them to expand their reach and better serve kids in Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, and Lawrence counties.
Founding members of the CYAC will gain valuable experience in leadership skills and community outreach. The group will be involved in hands-on volunteer efforts, fundraising events, and social gatherings. Space for the inaugural CYAC is limited to 11–15 members. The deadline to apply is September 30th. Membership dues are $100.
