Cramer Children’s Advocacy Center Announces 3rd Annual Cramer Kids Classic Golf Tournament

August 10, 2026 — The Cramer Children’s Advocacy Center is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Cramer Kids Classic Golf Tournament, set for Friday, September 25, 2026, at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at the Shoals.

The tournament brings together businesses, community leaders, families, and supporters for a fun day of golf while raising critical funds to support children who have experienced abuse in Northwest Alabama.

Cramer Children’s Advocacy Center is a nationally accredited Children’s Advocacy Center serving children and families in Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, and Lawrence counties. Cramer brings together a team of professionals to provide children with the support they need in one safe, child-friendly environment. Services include forensic interviews, medical examinations, trauma-focused therapy, victim advocacy, and coordination with law enforcement, DHR, prosecutors, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

All services are provided free of charge to their families.

“Every child who walks through our doors deserves to be heard, believed, and given the opportunity to heal,” said Chelsea Lawson, Business Development Director for Cramer Children’s Advocacy Center. “The Kids Classic is a fun day, but what it makes possible for children in our community is incredibly serious and incredibly important. We are so grateful for the businesses and individuals who continue to show up for these kids.”

The Cramer Kids Classic offers several ways for the community to get involved. Golf teams of four are available, along with a variety of sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations. Every sponsorship and team registration directly supports children who have experienced abuse, helping provide them with the services, support, and care they need to heal.
