A Discussion on Mental Health & Allergies with Celeste Coffman

THE SHOALS, ALA – Research shows that those suffering from chronic Allergies are at a higher risk of being diagnosed with a mental health disorder, including depression and bipolar disorder. Disrupted sleep patterns, isolation, and inflammation are all triggers that can lead to poor mental health.

The ENT Center of Northwest Alabama is grateful for the opportunity to bring more awareness to this topic through a virtual conversation between Dr. Masterson and Celeste Coffman. Join us via Instagram live (@entcenteralabama) or Facebook Live on December 8th at 12:15 PM CST.

Celeste Coffman is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified School Counselor, and owner of Thoughtful Journey Counseling in downtown Florence. Celeste and her team teach coping skills to men and women experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, life changes.

We look forward to breaking down the symptoms of Allergy disease and outlining how they can negatively impact your mental health when left untreated. Our hope is that you will leave our conversation feeling more empowered to prioritize your health in all areas while helping change the narrative of Allergy disease.
