About Us

The Johnson Companies began doing business in 1918 as J. K. Johnson Company.  Over the last century, J. K. JohnsonCompany's activities eventually expanded to the point that three companies wereformed: they are Johnson Contractors, Inc., J. K. Johnson MechanicalContractors, Inc., and Johnson Electric Company, Inc. These three companiesmake up the Johnson Companies, which are separate and independent companiesthat provide our customers with the option of a general contractor, amechanical contractor, and/or electrical contractor or they can work togetheras one company to provide the services of all three companies. The Johnson Companiesare highly diversified companies that routinely provide construction servicesin both the industrial and commercial sectors.
