Position Summary
The Business Development Manager is a key role responsible for driving business growth within the Florence market. This position focuses on identifying and securing new client relationships, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans for new and existing client accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Prospect for new clients through various channels including cold calling, networking events, and industry research.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including recruiters and branch management, to ensure successful client placements.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Actively participate in local business and community events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the company CRM.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven success in direct sales, including experience in:
    • Developing and executing sales strategies
    • Consultative selling techniques
    • Cold calling and lead generation
    • Closing deals and exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong understanding of the local business landscape in Florence, AL.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a passion for success.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
