We are in need of overnight support for our guests on shelter nights.
We are seeking dedicated individuals who are able to work through the night, meeting our guests needs and ensuring their safety.
The hours needing coverage: 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM and 2:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Each shift requires two individuals for safety purposes. You are welcome to cover the full eight hours or just four.
You are free to do schoolwork or other quiet work during your shift so long as you remain aware of the shelter setting and are available to our guests should they have a need.
The position pays $12/hr.
The requirements for the position are as follows:
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must have your own transportation and cell phone (and be able to provide a copy of your driver’s license)
- Must commit to attend a training on overnight support
- Must be comfortable working with unhoused individuals and treating them with dignity and respect
