Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist team members with daily marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities as assigned
  • Support in-house marketing and design team activities by coordinating and collating content
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, graphic design, photography, web design/optimization, social media campaigns)
  • Establish tracking mechanisms to analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, web traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Assist with market research activities by tracking consumer habits and competitor activity (monitoring market changes and marketing mix used by competitors)
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas with the marketing team for creative marketing campaigns
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events, campaigns and exhibition related activities
  • Collaborate with marketing and other team members to coordinate targeted brand awareness campaigns 
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
  • Organize the production of branded items such as company literature and merchandise
  • Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and e-mails
REQUIREMENTS
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BS or BA in Marketing or Business related discipline (or equivalent work experience). Previous experience in a marketing or sales environment preferred.
  • ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Ability to review data, evaluate it and refine it down to key facts and action points that can be shared with the team. Strong content proofing skills.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS: Adept with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) preferred. Ability to learn new applications quickly and easily.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills are required.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively within all functional levels and areas of the organization. 
  • APTITUDES: Position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and willingness to get the job done. Strong research skills with the ability to gather and analyze data for translation into meaningful information for team members and customers. Projects self professionally in appearance, actions and demeanor; confident and appropriately assertive. Good business sense and understanding of the creative process.
