DESCRIPTION: Collaborates with the creative team to establish, update, maintain and control all creative content assets related to company websites, literature, social media, marketing campaigns or any entity that offers content.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • ?Plan, create, execute, and manage content strategies in line with brand image that drive revenue and build brand recognition while promoting high user engagement.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns and strategies managing content creation, publishing, and ongoing optimization.
  • Provide design and video content support by assisting with the creation of marketing materials.
  • Plan and deliver targeted email marketing campaigns driving audience engagement and superior campaign performance.
  • Collect, analyze, and apply data analytics to personalize and optimize content attracting new business prospects and expanding lead generation initiatives.
  • Support sales and marketing team members with up-to-date content materials and establish schedules, deadlines, planning themes and updates for content requests/projects.
  • Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure appropriateness of tone, style, quality, clarity and consistency as it relates to each specific audience.
  • Collaborate with the website administrator to collect, monitor and analyze social and website metrics to complete company website improvements. 
  • Evaluate customer websites regularly and ensure content updates/suggestions are provided to sales and marketing team members as appropriate.
  • Research markets, industries and competitive landscape to adjust content strategies as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with copyright and competitive landscape to adjust content strategies as needed.
  • Provide suggestions for ways to optimize business growth through the use of core competencies and employee strengths.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration preferred or 2-3 years of professional corporate writing experience.
  • APTITUDES: An understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital/print advertising and social media marketing with a demonstrated ability to lead marketing campaigns is preferred. Must be collaborative, energetic, exercise independent judgment, take initiative and manage multiple priorities effectively. Projects self professionally, in appearance, actions and demeanor; confident and appropriately assertive.
  • ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Ability to evaluate data metric reporting, extract pertinent findings, and refine it to key facts and action points for strategic discussions. Aptitude for deciphering competitive market information and distilling it to actionable information for decision support.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write content for engagement across various market channels. Proven record of interpersonal skills that enables close partnering with clients, vendors and internal team members.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS: Adept with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Experience with or exposure to Google Analytics, E-Commerce platforms, Adobe Acrobat/Illustrator and project management systems is required.
