Position Overview:
PROJECTXYZ has a rare opening for a Maintenance Technician in our manufacturing area where we provide prototype molds and parts to major OEM companies using world-class equipment and leading-edge technologies through stereolithography, selective laser sintering, vacuum casting, and other specialized processes.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting production operations, conducting general and preventative maintenance; electrical and mechanical, as well as building and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a blend of mechanical, electrical, and digital proficiency, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous production flow
- Ensures operation of electrical and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on hydraulic, pneumatic, water, coolant systems, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Maintain maintenance logs and records
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency callouts to minimize production downtime
- Support installation and set-up of new equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and functionality
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Able to read and follow drawings and Document / communicate all machine control modifications to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose the root cause of the problem.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical degrees in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields are preferred
- 1-2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
- Understanding and ability to communicate technical and mechanical information
- Good problem-solving, attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Excellent Communication skills, both Verbal and Written
- Employees are regularly required to safely and efficiently perform tasks in a fast-paced working environment under minimal supervision.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, robots and conveyors.
- Various physical demands.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Push/pull up to 300 lbs. with or without assistance
