We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Fabrication Shop CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in our manufacturing process by creating and implementing CNC programs to operate our computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using specialized software (CAM).
- Select appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each project.
- Set up, test, and refine CNC programs to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two to four years of experience in CNC programming or machining.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and operations.
- Proficiency in using CNC programming software (CAM).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
