Arranges for funerals. Makes job assignments for employees of the department. Maintains cemetery property and other grounds at many locations throughout the city. Responsible for the repair of equipment assigned to the department. Responsible for budgeting and purchasing tools, parts, equipment, gas, oil, and uniforms used by the department. Performs other duties as required. This position reports directly to the Mayor.
