This position oversees the maintenance and repairs of buildings and facilities of the City of Florence. Job duties include planning, organizing, supervising maintenance staff, scheduling work assignments, and inspections, and diagnosing or detecting problems, such as electrical, plumbing, heating/air, painting, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and other miscellaneous maintenance problems/issues. Employee develops a plan for repairs, and when necessary makes repair referrals to outside vendors. This position is subject to callouts after hours and on weekends. Employee is required to respond in emergency/urgent situations. This position works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Solid Waste, Street, and Recycle.
