The Graphics Design Specialist will play a critical role in the development, production, and management of print projects within a new division that specializes in helical printing. This role involves a unique blend of technical and creative skills to support sales, client engagement, and production, ensuring quality and innovation in each project. The Graphics Design Specialist will work closely with the marketing and production team to provide technical expertise and hands-on support, driving customer satisfaction and helping to establish PROJECTXYZ as a leader in direct-to-object printing solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with support and leads, technical art and design, sample production, and consulting on technical aspects of PROJECTXYZ printing and services.
- Create and develop graphics and assets for Leadership, Marketing, and Operations, as requested
- Create project layouts for potential issues or challenges for production
- Create visuals for client review
- Create mechanical PDFs for client review and approval for production
- Review project layouts for production
- Adjust layouts and images for print production
- Prepare prepress files according to established and evolving standards
- Create and develop 2D, as well as 3D graphic artwork for direct-to-object printing of 3D objects; establishing ‘Best Practices’ for file creation and setup for PROJECTXYZ
- Learn technical aspects of PROJECTXYZ Printing machines and develop innovative solutions for expanding capabilities
- Manage client deadlines and expectations
- Collaborate and consult with creative teams and clients
- Maintain image and file libraries
- Test machine for quality, capability, and standards via file manipulation
- Establish art standards for production, based on productivity, quality, and client expectations
- Collaborate with marketing in creation of messaging, visuals and strategy for print and web
- Collaborate with leadership in brand creation, management, and messaging
- Proofreading materials, as necessary
- Image editing
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of digital file types, handling, and use for specific outcomes in print production
- Understanding and ability to communicate technical and mechanical information
- Ability to self-teach is a necessity
- Excellent Communication skills, both Verbal and Written
- Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac and PC environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or similar field of study. Will consider additional years’ experience in lieu of a 4-year degree
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant job experience in digital pre-press or similar high-detail graphics role
- Work environment is office
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to operate a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to operate a phone both making and receiving calls and taking or conveying information
- Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Occasionally lifts/moves up to 25 pounds
