Have you ever wondered how long it takes to write and stage a play for performance? In most cases, a very long time!
Enter The 24 Hour Plays!
On Friday, April 12, 2019, at 8 pm, the Z will begin the second 24-hour play festival in the Shoals! Participants will be divided into groups, a theme will be assigned (plus a couple of twists!) and the writers will get busy. Scripts must be finished by 6 am on Saturday and the directors and actors will begin memorizing and rehearsing. Public performance will be on Saturday night!! Start to finish, six brand new plays in 24 hours!
If you want to come watch the curiosity that is a 24 hour play festival, tickets are $10 and are available on our website (www.TheZTickets.Store) or at the door. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
If you would like to participate, contact us! We may have a few more acting spots available...no audition required!
