Calling all backyard champions! Shoals Nonprofit Center is hosting its very first Cornhole Tournament. This event is a fundraiser to benefit the work SNC does to amplify the impact our local nonprofits have on the communities of Lauderdale, Colbert, and Franklin counties.
Teams of two can register for $50 until July 31st. Prices increase to $75 on August 1st. Registration includes a t-shirt as well as the entry fee to play. Boards will be provided by SNC and the tournament will follow the rules set for by the American Cornhole Association: https://americancornhole.com/.../ACO-Cornhole-Rules....
We will award prizes for first, second, and third place teams. We will also have an optional buy in for a baggo competition.
We will have food trucks and local food vendors on site for meals and snacks all day and broadcast the football games for fans to watch in between tournament rounds.
The tournament style will be determined based on the number of registered teams and teams will be notified of the style of tournament at least one week prior to the start of the tournament. We are limiting the tournament to 100 teams.
