DESCRIPTION:Seasons of Change is a musical theatre benefit concert featuring local singing talent from the Tennessee Valley. Join us for an evening of musical theatre repertoire that include themes of unity\, compassion\, togetherness\, and love. Seasons of Change will include songs from musical theatre favorites like RENT\, Dear Evan Hansen\, Matilda\, Pippin\, Shrek: The Musical\, Songs for a New World\, Ragtime: An American Musical\, Les Miserables\, and more! All proceeds go to benefit programming for the Tennessee Valley Art Association\, comprised of the Ritz Theatre and the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art.\n\n\n\nCreative Team\n\nCreative Director - Riel Fuqua\n\nMusic Director - Kenisha Phillips\n\nChoreographer - LaDarius Prince\n\nProduction Manager - Adrial Garner\n\nDance Captain - Lily Goodwin\n\n\n\nFrom Director Riel Fuqua about Seasons of Change:\n\nAs a multi-passionate person with love for the performing arts\, togetherness\, and meaningful text\, the idea of a benefit concert for the Tennessee Valley Art Association centered around musical theatre repertoire that inspires the community felt relevant and timely. We are in desperate times that call for love\, and that love needs to happen now. I can think of no other way to promote a community so saturated in musicianship\, performing talent\, and passion for the arts to support our organization as well as each other than through a musical theatre revue\, full of songs that evoke change and promote commonality. \n\n \n\nI hope that Seasons of Change will provide an avenue for local singing talent in our community to share their voices\, for audience members to connect with each other and bear witness the legacy our area has in building and telling stories that call unity in our world\, be it in Sheffield\, the Shoals Area\, or our world at large.
