MSSC Training Certification
|
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) training center at Northwest-Shoals Community College is an industry-led training, assessment and certification system focused on the core skills and knowledge needed by the nation’s front-line production and material handling workers.Â
Â
MSSC training offers both entry-level and incumbent workers the opportunity to demonstrate that they have acquired the skills increasingly needed in the technology-intensive jobs of the 21st century. Learn more about MSSC training in Alabama.

Apprenticeship Opportunity

The Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program (AMTAP) is a six week certification program designed to certify candidates with the skills necessary to build electronics hardware and develop an exciting career in space operations.
Â
Participants are paid and offered benefits during the six week training program.Â
Â
Candidates who successfully complete the program may be offered full time employment at Lockheed Martin.Â
