The Parking Guys owner Craig Martin’s passion for entrepreneurship has been evident for the majority of his life. His journey started in Nashville, Tennessee when his best friend asked him to become a valet attendant with him at the Renaissance hotel. After getting his feet wet, Craig and his friend left their valet jobs at the hotel and started their own valet parking business, Serious Parking Management, in 2004.
 
Years later, Craig decided to go out on his own with his valet start-up business, The Parking Guys. In 2017, Craig and his staff opened in the Shoals at The Stricklin Hotel in downtown Florence, and have advanced from there. They now operate services at the North Alabama Medical Center.
 
“We want to set a standard for your business that truly draws people in,” said Craig. “We are mainly focused on hospitals and hotels, but are also trying to valet for private events and become more involved in downtown Florence.”
 
The Parking Guys currently has 45 employees with more to come. Although their corporate office is in Nashville, they are striving to grow and expand in Florence and the surrounding areas.
 
“When a business or event offers valet, they are showing their attendees/customers that they are important to them,” said Craig. “The Parking Guys are here to make you feel welcome and comfortable no matter who or where you are.”
