On March 23rd, Fisher Animal Hospital will be opening their brand new facility located on 235 Cox Creek Parkway South in Florence. Dr. Brandon Fisher and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Bell Fisher, will be practicing at his new location, which replaces the animal hospital built in 1973 under the direction of Dr. James Holliday and joined by Dr. Smith in 1984.

The substantially larger facility will allow Fisher Animal Hospital to efficiently treat more patients with shorter wait times. The facility includes areas for treatments, surgeries, and dental care that will allow Fisher and his team to expand their services while improving quality of care. The hospital includes a separate boarding area for any hospitalized patients and a specialized isolation room for animals with contagious diseases.

The kennels will offer larger, more comfortable dog runs to house both large and small dogs. They will also have multiple indoor/outdoor runs available for the animals to access when the clinic is open.

Clients can take advantage of the doggy daycare opportunities such as multiple outdoor fence-in areas and artificial pet turf.

All cats will have a completely separate boarding area where there will be less noise and more natural light for a stress-free stay. The hospital will have five exam rooms with one set up to accommodate cats utilizing "fear free" tactics.

“We really plan for this facility to allow us to continue to stay up to date with the latest advances in veterinary care. Our goal was to build a facility to meet our current needs and also allow us to grow and adjust as our practice grows into the future,” says Dr. Brandon Fisher.
